- Make an agenda for each meeting.
- Be the moderator for each meeting.
- Send out email notifications for the meeting, send out a Facebook message & posters put up. (in the PTO mailbox)
- Manage the postings on the Shaftsbury PTO’s Facebook page.
- Add all PTO dates & calendar to the SES calendar.
- Act as the Point Person between the PTO, Shaftsbury Elementary School & the After School Program.
- Screen all potential fundraising applicants & mail.
- Organize the Fall Fundraiser:
- Supervise the distribution of the fundraiser, the deposits of the monies & coordination of the effort.
- Make sure that all fundraisers are profitable of at least 50%.
- Assist all other fundraisers & their chairpersons with their efforts.
- Help ALL Chair persons out with their respective tasks.
- Screening & research for all educational programs and/or residencies that may come to SES.
- Present ALL new ideas & new fundraising ideas to the entire PTO for vote & decision making.
